Woman set fire to boyfriend’s crotch because he wouldn’t talk to her

Irate Berlinda Dixon-Newbold, 38,  fancied a chat with boyfriend Sheldon Gonzales.

But Sheldon was not in the mood for a chinwag and instead decided that a nice kip was much more to his liking.

Dixon-Newbold took such exception to being ignored that she grabbed the nearest available lighter and set fire to his crotch.

A startled Sheldon managed to put the fire out with his hands before the couple engaged in a heated argument.

Sheldon told reporters in his home state of Florida: ‘You tend to get upset when somebody tries to harm the family jewels.’

The extent of his injuries are unclear.

Dixon-Newbold is being held for aggravated assault.

woman sues google for showing her underwear on street view

The woman, who has not been named, is reported to be after 600,000 yen (£4,588) from Google, after claiming she suffered psychological distress as a result of her washing line being featured on the Street View function.

According to Japan’s Mainichi newspaper, the woman told a court hearing in the city of Fukuoka: ‘I was overwhelmed with anxiety that I might be the target of a sex crime.

‘It caused me to lose my job and I had to change my residence.

‘I could understand if it was just a picture of the outside of the apartment, but showing a person’s underwear hanging outside is absolutely wrong.’

The woman claims her obsessive-compulsive disorder became worse when she saw the photo while looking for her apartment on Google.

The law suit claims she became concerned everything she was doing was being secretly recorded.

She was later fired from her job at a local hospital and moved to a new apartment.
